Yesterday, I finally overcame writer's block on this novel. I got down 2,067 words, after months of trying and failing to write (and keep) more than a sentence. I feel I'm getting somewhere.
Points Change is getting ever closer to its publishing date, but there is still a long way to go. Editing this one is going to take a long time.
This story is completely separate from the Independent Magician, following a very different set of characters. You will meet:
Argent Fox, a creative inventor who is able (but not so willing) to use his skills and intellect in fighting crime.
Mrs. Badger, Mr. Fox's kindly (albeit somewhat fierce) housekeeper, plus her prize pet beetle, Toby.
Inspector Renard, the cunning, lazy creature of Kittiwake Yard, who likes to treat all he works with as tools to be used or competitors to beat or else undermine.
Mrs. Renard, the unfortunate housewife of Inspector Renard.
Eno Frog, a watchmaker with an interesting double life.
Tempest and Foggy, a pair of seafaring mountain tigers (it seems I have a soft spot for Siberian tigers).
Mr. Fixer and his accomplice, Miss GreyBat, a not-so-dynamic duo working for a mysterious "Mr. X".
