New writer E. M. Shryke has been influenced by a love of the natural world and British history – particularly the points in history when the legal system was young and flawed; the world as we know it today was only beginning. He has made a study of the Industrial Revolution and the technology that shaped Today and has an interest in architecture that rivals only his passion for criminology and social justice.
E. M. Shryke is a free-spirited new writer who lives in the wilds of the UK. He has always loved animals; his pets (of which there have been many) and the creatures he encounters in his garden are an endless supply of inspiration.
He loves all creatures great and small and enjoys riding in his spare time. Photography is a favourite (less active) hobby and acts as a means of gathering inspiration and studying details. Architecture, transport and natural scenes/wildlife are all preferred subjects.
His favourite aesthetic is steampunk, which will feature heavily in future books and illustrations.
