Hello, all!
It has been a while since my last update, so let me explain why I have been so quiet lately.
The past year has been incredibly challenging for me. I've been dealing with a combination of post-viral fatigue and personal difficulties that made it hard to focus on creative projects.
One of the most significant struggles was fighting the very real threat of eviction and homelessness. When I became unwell, I lost my income and rapidly went from managing but unable to set money aside to being unable to pay rent and utilities. If it were not for my local Food Bank, I would not have been able to eat.
Navigating those months was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. The uncertainty, the physical toll of being unwell, and the emotional strain of losing stability were overwhelming. It’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
Thankfully, with support from local resources and sheer determination, I’ve managed to get through the worst of it. I’m now in a safer and more stable place, though the effects of both the illness and the distress are still lingering.
