Centrallis money shares uncanny similarities British "Old Money" (pre-decimalisation). 

​

There are three components:

​

ʘ Taka (plural: Takaas) - coins, chiefly of copper

  • The Taka can be halved (ɸ or a Hatta) and quartered (ɵ or a Tamma)

  • A Hatta is small, round, made of copper and has a jumping spider on it.  Its numerical notation is 1ɸ

  • A Tamma is slightly larger, round, made of copper and has a bumblebee on it.  Its numerical notation is 1ɵ

  • A Copper is a One Taka coin.  It is the largest of the round copper coins, but is still quite small.  Its picture is a land snail.  Its numerical notation is 1ʘ

  • A Tuka is a Two Takaas coin.  It is approximately the same size as a copper but it is triangular.  It has a butterfly on it.  Its numerical notation is 2ʘ

  • A Thruka is a Three Takaas coin.  It is also triangular and made of copper.  It is larger than a Tuka.  A Thruka has a picture of a ladybird on it.  Its numerical notation is 3ʘ

  • A Sixtak is a Six Takaas coin.  It is the same size as the Thruka, but it is silver and hexagonal.   It has a scarab beetle on it.  Its numerical notation is 6ʘ

ƪ Tletos (plural: Tletosse) - coins, silver and gold

  • A Mini (or Minnae) ​is a One Tletos coin.  It is silver, medium-sized, and has twelve sides (a dodecagon).  It takes its name from its picture, which is a minnow.  Its numerical notation is ƪ1 and is worth 12ʘ

  • A Red (or Red-Eye) is a Two Tletosse coin.  It is silver and larger than a Minnae.  It has twenty-four sides (a icositetragon).  It takes its name from its picture, which is a tench.  Its numerical notation is ƪ2 and it is worth 24ʘ

  • A Sally is a Five Tletosse coin.  It is gold, small and has five sides (a pentagon).  It takes its name from its picture, which is a salmon.  Its numerical notation is ƪ5 and it is worth 60ʘ

  • A Tinner is a Ten Tletosse coin.  It is gold, larger than a Sally and has ten sides (a decagon).  It takes its name from its picture, which is a mackerel.  Its numerical notation is ƪ10 and it is worth 120ʘ

ƹ Fuwra (plural: Fuwraes) - notes made from cotton fibre

  • ​A Quob is a One Fuwra note.  It is the smallest of the notes and is red in colour.  The founding members of the Sacaeredosse are pictured on it.  Its numerical notation is 1ƹ and it is worth ƪ20 or 240ʘ

  • A Two-Quob is a Two Fuwraes note.  It is larger than the One-Quob and is orange in colour.  Its picture is about the abolition of the Slave Trade and shows the leader of the movement, Clara Brokkos, and broken chains.  Its numerical notation is 2ƹ and it is worth ƪ40 or 480ʘ

  • A Five-Quob is a Five Fuwraes note.  It is larger than the Two-Quob and is yellow in colour.  Its picture is of the steam carriage and its inventor, Benjamin Fael.  Its numerical notation is 5ƹ and it is worth ƪ100 or 1200ʘ

  • A Ten-Quob is a Ten Fuwraes note.  It is larger than the Five-Quob and is green in colour.  Its picture is of the Sacri Palacii and its architect.  Its numerical notation is 10ƹ and it is worth ƪ200 or 2400ʘ

  • A Danner is a Twenty Fuwraes note.  It is larger than the Ten-Quob and is blue in colour.  Its picture is about the first vaccine in Attaal and shows the doctor who made the discovery and the hospital at which he worked.  Its numerical notation is 20ƹ and it is worth ƪ400 or 4800ʘ

  • A Buffer is a Fifty Fuwraes note.  It is larger than the Danner and purple in colour.  Its picture shows Captain Albatross, who discovered Twannos, with his sailing ship, "Seaspray".  Its numerical notation is 50ƹ and it is worth ƪ1000 or 12000ʘ

  • A Wowser is a One Hundred Fuwraes note.  It is larger than the Buffer and pink in colour.  Its picture is about the discoverer of time and shows her with her invention: the world's first clock.  Its numerical notation is 100ƹ and it is worth ƪ2000 or 24000ʘ
